Today, on May 23, 2026, the next round of the university competitions “Chakomai Gesu” and “Student Artist of the Year” was held in a festive and celebratory atmosphere with remarkable splendor and enthusiasm.
It is worth noting that the event was organized in honor of the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. The ceremony was attended by the Rector of Tajikistan International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulugzoda, Doctor of Philological Sciences and Professor Zhilo Gulnazarzoda, Head of the Department for Women and Family Affairs of the Executive Authority of Sino District of Dushanbe Khursheda Gulahmadzoda, renowned artists Shuhrat Sainakov, as well as teachers and students.
This stage of the competition was organized by the Faculty of English Language Teaching. The event turned into a vibrant showcase of talent, culture, and appreciation of national beauty. Female students captivated the audience with their national attire, public speaking skills, handicrafts, and creative presentations of folk traditions.
In her speech, Rector Zhilo Gulnazarzoda described such competitions as an effective means of reviving national traditions and educating young women in the spirit of patriotism and national self-awareness.
The cultural segment of the competition featured poetry recitations, melodious songs, captivating dances, and artistic performances, making the event especially memorable and adding a unique charm to the celebration. The warm and friendly atmosphere, combined with the students’ artistic creativity, transformed the gathering into a true celebration of culture, beauty, and talent.
