Today, May 25, a large-scale sports festival dedicated to World Football Day was held at the Central Stadium in Dushanbe. Representatives of the staff and faculty of Tajikistan International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulughzoda actively participated in the event.
It should be noted that May 25 was officially proclaimed World Football Day by the United Nations following an initiative put forward by the President of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) and President of the Tajikistan Football Federation, Rustam Emomali. This important initiative highlights the role of football as a powerful tool for promoting friendship, peace, mutual understanding, and unity among nations.
