Today, 16 September 2026, a meeting between the Rector of the University, Professor Zhilo Gulnazarzoda, and first-year students of the Faculty of Philology and Journalism was held in the University’s Cultural Hall.
During the meeting, the Rector congratulated the students on the beginning of the new academic year and encouraged them to cultivate self-awareness and patriotism, uphold the country’s national values and symbols, follow the education-oriented policies of the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and devote themselves to learning foreign languages.
It was also noted that the fortunate students and youth of the country’s independence era should uphold the honor and prestige of our nation throughout their studies at this seat of learning.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Rector Professor Zhilo Gulnazarzoda issued specific instructions to the faculty administration aimed at further improving the quality of teaching and education.
