Today, September 1, a peace lesson was held at the Sotim Ulugzoda Tajik International University of Foreign Languages with the participation of the rector of the University, Professor Gulnazarzoda Zhilo, a representative of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Religion, Regulation of Traditions, Celebrations and Ceremonies under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Davlatzoda Salim Muzafar, and a delegation of teachers and first-year students of the University.
At the beginning, the rector of the University, Professor Zhilo Gulnazarzoda, congratulated the representative of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, teachers and students on Knowledge Day and the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, and noted that the Sotim Ulugzoda Tajik International University of Foreign Languages, as a higher institution of the country, prepares students in the best conditions in the fields of teaching, translation, journalism, linguistics, and international relations.
It is worth noting that every year, Knowledge Day and the Peace Lesson begin with the auspicious speech of the Leader of the Nation. This year, the Leader of the Nation met with representatives of the education sector in the newly built building of the General Secondary Educational Institution No. 105 in the capital.
Over the 35 years of independence, with the support and educational and linguistic policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the Honorable Emomali Rahmon, priority attention has been paid to the development of the education and science sectors, and all good and modern conditions and opportunities have been created for young people. The number of foreign languages studied at the Sotim Ulugzoda International University of Foreign Languages of Tajikistan has increased, and today 14 foreign languages are taught at this institution.
Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Religion, Regulation of Traditions, Celebrations and Ceremonies under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Davlatzoda Salim Muzafar, congratulated all teachers and students of the University on the Day of Knowledge on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and further called on young people to cultivate the spirit of self-knowledge, protect national interests, achieve peace and stability, strengthen state independence, and study modern science and technologies, foreign languages.
Young people should effectively use the conditions provided by the Government of the country, the Leader of the Nation, the Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and contribute to the development and progress of our beloved country.
