At the initiative of the Department of General University Foreign Languages, the first session of the student scientific club entitled “Window into the World of Languages” was held under the theme “Languages as a Bridge of Friendship Among Peoples.” The session was led by Lola Safialloeva.
The event was attended by Muhabbatsho Qobilov, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations; Mehriddin Tojiddinov, the official responsible for organising university clubs; Muhammadrahim Nazirzoda, Deputy Head of the Department of Academic Affairs; Zarafshon Azizova, Head of the Educational Quality Monitoring Department; Zarbakht Shonazarov, Head of the Department of General University Foreign Languages; as well as faculty members and students.
During the session, students delivered informative presentations, participated in question-and-answer sessions and quizzes, and discussed the topic of “Diplomatic Relations Between Foreign Countries.” They also shared interesting information with the audience about foreign languages and the importance of learning them.
At the conclusion of the event, Muhabbatsho Qobilov, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations; Muhammadrahim Nazirzoda, Deputy Head of the Department of Academic Affairs; and Zarafshon Azizova, Head of the Educational Quality Monitoring Department, addressed the participants. In their remarks, they highlighted the significance of the inaugural session of the “Window into the World of Languages” club and emphasised that organising such academic activities plays an important role in enhancing the knowledge and skills of students majoring in International Relations.
