On 5 October 2026, a fruitful meeting was held at the Tajik International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulugzoda, on the initiative of the Youth Union of Tajikistan and dedicated to the State Language Day of the Republic of Tajikistan. The meeting was attended by members of the University staff, faculty members, and students.
At the outset, the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Layli Sharifzoda, delivered a speech addressing national values, the youth-oriented policy pursued by the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, the provision of favourable opportunities and conditions for young people in higher education institutions, and the strengthening of peace and stability in the country. She called upon the younger generation to demonstrate patriotism, love for their homeland, and a strong sense of national responsibility.
In his address, the Head of the Office of the Youth Union of Tajikistan, Rajabali Tursunzoda, urged young people to appreciate and be grateful for the peace and stability of their homeland and to remain committed to the wise and constructive policy of the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon. He also encouraged them to value the exceptional efforts and dedication of their teachers and to preserve the Tajik language in its pure and unblemished form. Furthermore, he called on students to pursue their studies diligently, achieve high academic results, become highly qualified specialists, and serve their nation and state with dedication and integrity.
At the conclusion of the meeting, following a fruitful discussion and exchange of views, certificates of commendation and commemorative gifts were presented by the Youth Union of Tajikistan to active teachers and students who had participated in national- and international-level events.
