On June 9, 2026, the results and conclusions of the district round of the republican competition “The Morning Light of Knowledge is a Book” in the Sino district of Dushanbe were announced at the Omar Khayyam Lyceum in Dushanbe. In the district round, employees and students of the Sotim Ulugzoda Tajik International University of Foreign Languages and students of the “Gymnasium” under the University actively participated in the competition, winning 7 first, second and third places and qualifying for the city round of the competition.
It is worth noting and proud that in the regional stage of the republican competition “The Dawn of Wisdom is a Book”, the University team participated and won in four nominations, taking 7 places and 4 honorary places in all nominations among students and employees of various professions and students of the Tajik International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulugzoda.
- Karimov Samariddin, a teacher of the Department of Theory and Practice of Linguistics, among representatives of various professions in the nomination “World Literature”, deserved 1st place;
- Saidmuminova Safina, a teacher of the Department of Oriental Languages, among employees of various professions in the nomination “Classical Tajik Literature”, deserved 3rd place;
- Nizomova Farida, a third-year student, in the nomination “Modern Tajik Literature”, deserved 1st place;
- Abdulloeva Shahlo, a first-year student, in the nomination “Children’s and Adolescent Literature and Oral Works”, was awarded 2nd place;
- Abdurakhmonova Shabnam, a second-year student in the nomination “World Literature”, was awarded 2nd place;
- – Mirzoeva Shoira, a third-year student in the nomination “World Literature”, was awarded 3rd place;
- – Davlatova Fotima, a 6th-grade student of the “Gymnasium” under the University, was awarded 2nd place in the nomination “World Literature”.

- Begmurodova Salima, a first-year student in the nomination “Children’s and Adolescent Literature and Oral Works”, was awarded an honorable place;
- Ibrohimova Mahvash, a first-year student in the nomination “Classical Tajik Literature”, was awarded an honorable place;
- Samieva Norbibi, second year in the nomination “Classical Tajik Literature”, worthy of a place of honor;
- Saidov Anis. third year in the nomination “World Literature”, worthy of a place of honor.
The winners of the second round of the competition – employees, students and pupils of the “Gymnasium” under the University – need to prepare seriously to participate in its subsequent stages and become worthy of places of honor.
