VISIT OF THE DELEGATION OF EAST KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITY NAMED AFTER SARSEN AMANZHOLOV

On 18 April 2026, Tajik International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulughzoda welcomed a delegation from East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov led by its Rector, Tolegen Mukhtar Adilbekovich. During the visit, an official meeting was held with the Rector of the University, Professor Zhilo Gulnazarzoda.

Professor Zhilo Gulnazarzoda warmly welcomed the guests and highlighted the achievements of the independence period, while emphasizing the strong and friendly relations between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan in all major areas of cooperation, particularly in science and education.

During the meeting, it was noted that cooperation within the framework of the existing agreement has shown significant progress in the field of academic mobility. Over the past two years, 71 students have been sent to East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov for study purposes.

The parties also held detailed discussions on the implementation of joint dual-degree programmes in the 2+2 format. In addition, both sides reaffirmed their readiness to continue constructive dialogue and to seek mutually beneficial avenues for further cooperation.

It should also be noted that, following the meeting, Memorandum of understanding were signed between Kulob State University named after Abuabdullohi Rudaki and East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov, as well as between Bokhtar State University named after Nosiri Khusrav and East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov.

As a gesture of respect and to strengthen intercultural ties, the delegation was presented with the first and second volumes of the work by the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, entitled “The Nation Language – The Nation Existence”, translated into Russian. Other participants also received commemorative gifts.
