On October 21, 2026, the first round of the city-wide contest “You Are the Heart of Tajikistan, Dushanbe” took place at the Sotim Ulughzoda International University of Foreign Languages of Tajikistan.
Students from the university participated across four categories—composing the best poem in praise of the capital, Dushanbe; the best poetry recitation; the best vocal performance; and the best group song dedicated to the nation’s capital—thereby showcasing their skills and talents. A panel of judges evaluated the entries and selected the top performers to advance to the district-level round.
It is worth noting that the objective of this contest is to discover and showcase new talent—individuals with exceptional skills in oratory, public speaking, and singing.
