Today, 5 October 2026, on the occasion of the State Language Day, a book exhibition and sale was held at the Tajik International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulugzoda on the initiative of the State Unitary Enterprise “Book Supply and Trade”. The event was attended by the University’s teaching staff and students, who actively participated in the exhibition.
The exhibition and sale aimed to promote a culture of reading, encourage young people to develop an interest in books and reading, and showcase the achievements of the publishing sector. The exhibition featured a wide range of publications produced by publishing institutions under the Ministry of Culture, including the “Adib”, “Irfon”, and “Children’s Literature” publishing houses, the Main Editorial Board of the Tajik Encyclopaedia, and other publishing organisations. The books were made available to readers and book enthusiasts.
The University’s teaching staff and students actively participated in the exhibition, taking the opportunity to explore and purchase newly.
