LITERARY AND CULTURAL EVENT CELEBRATING TEACHER’S DAY

On October 3, the Faculty of Philology and Journalism hosted a literary and cultural event titled “The Teacher: A Beacon for the Future of the Young Generation” in honor of Teacher’s Day. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Sayyora Azimi, Sokhib Shakhobiddinov, representative of the Department of Upbringing along with faculty members and students.

Dean Sayyora Azimi—a Candidate of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor—congratulated the attendees on both Teacher’s Day and State Language Day. She noted the profound significance of the annual celebration of this professional holiday, emphasizing that teachers are rightfully regarded as mentors and guides for humanity.

Continuing the program, Professor Salimi Khatloni (Head of the Department of Theory and History of Literature) and Professor Sayidboy Sherboev delivered speeches highlighting the achievements made since the country gained state independence, as well as the high status and vital role of teachers in society.

Faculty members and students participated actively in the event, imbuing it with deep meaning and significant educational value.
