On August 19, 2026, at the Kuli Javonon cultural and entertainment park in Dushanbe, a celebratory cultural event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan was held at the initiative of the Sotim Ulughzoda Tajik International University of Foreign Languages and the Falak ensemble of the Akasharif Juraev State Philharmonic of Tajikistan.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Professor Ilhomiddin Ibrohimzoda; Rector of the University, Professor Jilo Gulnazarzoda; and University staff, faculty, and students. They presented a vibrant cultural program, including patriotic songs and national dances, creating a festive atmosphere.
As part of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan’s plan of activities, cultural events dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan are held weekly in the capital’s cultural and entertainment parks.
The goal of the event is to strengthen patriotism, respect for national values, promote the rich culture of the Tajik people, and celebrate the country’s achievements over the years of independence.
