HONORING THE MEMORY OF THE NATION’S DISTINGUISHED SONS

On May 23, 2026, in the spirit of the wise policy and constructive initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, a delegation of staff and faculty members of Tajikistan International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulugzoda, led by the Rector of the institution, Professor Zhilo Gulnazarzoda, visited the Luchob Cemetery to pay tribute to the devoted sons of the nation and honor their invaluable services.

During the visit, participants paid respects at the resting places of the Heroes of Tajikistan — Nusratullo Makhsum and Shirinsho Shotemur — as well as the distinguished son of the nation Nisor Muhammad. Flowers were laid at their graves, and prayers were offered in their memory.

This meaningful educational and spiritual initiative plays an important role in strengthening national self-awareness, patriotism, and respect for the history of Tajik statehood.

During the ceremony, it was emphasized that, thanks to the dedicated efforts and constructive initiatives of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, the remains of these prominent national figures were returned to Tajikistan, and their names continue to be honored as fighters for independence and freedom.

At the same time, the memory of other renowned representatives of Tajik science, culture, and literature was also respectfully commemorated during the event.
