On May 8, 2026, the Tajik State University of Law, Business, and Politics held a ceremony summing up the results of the final round of the Republican Olympiad among students of higher professional educational institutions of the country under the motto: “Tavonoo buvad har ki dono buvad!…”
It is with particular pride that it should be noted that the Olympiad team of the Sotim Ulughzoda Tajik International University of Foreign Languages actively participated in this Olympiad and was awarded prizes and honorable places:
- Aziza Abdusamadova, a third-year student of the Faculty of English Language Education, won first place in the subject “General Pedagogy”;
- Maryam Rahimzoda, a second-year student in the Faculty of English Language Education, won 2nd place in the English Language category;
- Shokhina Azimova, a third-year student in the Faculty of English Translation, won 2nd place in the Economic Theory category;
- Zarina Shopulatova, a third-year student in the Faculty of Russian Language and Literature, won 3rd place in the Russian Language category;
- Khursheda Sufieva, a third-year student in the Faculty of Philology and Journalism, won an honorable mention in the Tajik Language and Literature category.
- Asadbek Soginbaev, a third-year student in the Faculty of Oriental Languages and Pedagogy, won an honorable mention in the Computer Science category.
It should be noted that 490 students from 46 higher education institutions across the country are participating in this year’s Republican Olympiad. The competition covers 15 academic disciplines across two areas: humanities, economics, social sciences, and natural sciences.
