At the Faculty of Philology and Journalism, another session of the “Media Mind” club, organized by the Department of Journalism and Digital Information, was held on the topic: “The Contribution of the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, to the Development of Journalism in the Period of Independence.”
At the beginning of the event, the head of the club, Candidate of Philological Sciences Gulchehra Sayfiddinova, spoke about the development of journalism, the stages of formation of Tajik journalism, the establishment of national newspapers, radio, and television, as well as the significant contribution of the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, to the development of mass media in Tajikistan.
During the session, students presented their views on topics such as “Tajik Journalism and the Policy of the Leader of the Nation,” “The Leader of the Nation and the Future of Digital Journalism in the Country,” and “From Traditional to Digital: The Contribution of the Leader of the Nation to the Development of Mass Media.” They also discussed the role of journalists in safeguarding information security and the influence of social media on the thinking of young people.
