On 4 July 2026, Shafoati Sanginmurod , a lecturer at the Department of Theory and Practice of Linguistics, successfully defended his doctoral dissertation before the Dissertation Council 6D.KOA-117 at the Tajikistan International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulughzoda.
Conducted under the academic supervision of Professor Gulnazarzoda Zhilo, Doctor of Philological Sciences, the dissertation, entitled “The Semantics of Lexical Units (Based on the Works of Khaqani Shirvani)”, received high praise from the members of the Dissertation Council for its scholarly merit, originality, and valuable contribution to the field of linguistics.
