June 5, 2026, in Dushanbe, the Public Organization “Followers of the Leader of the Nation”, in cooperation with the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, held the closing ceremony of the eighth training course entitled “Youth – Followers of the Leader of the Nation.” Over the past six months, the course brought together 150 active young people from higher educational institutions across the capital.
It should be noted that this training course has been organized since 2019 within the framework of a joint action plan between the Committee for Youth Affairs and Sports and the Public Organization “Followers of the Leader of the Nation.” The initiative aims to identify and engage talented and capable young people, prepare them as a new generation of professionals devoted to their country and nation, familiarize them with the statecraft and leadership principles of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President Emomali Rahmon, encourage their participation in volunteer and community activities, and involve them in providing support during national and international events. Through these efforts, the program contributes to strengthening participants’ political awareness and enhancing their legal knowledge.
Throughout the six-month program, lectures and training sessions were delivered by government officials, distinguished public figures, heads of ministries and agencies, representatives of various organizations and institutions, experienced professionals, and successful entrepreneurs. At today’s ceremony, held as part of the Youth Month celebrations, graduates of the course were awarded certificates and diplomas in a festive atmosphere.
It is worth mentioning that five active students from the Tajikistan International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulughzoda participated in the program and actively took part in various national and international events during the course.
In addition, Mahmadsaid Gafurov, Head of the University’s Department of Education and Upbringing, was awarded a certificate upon completion of the training course “Youth – Followers of the Leader of the Nation.”
Furthermore, it is important to note that after completing the course, participants are encouraged to pursue careers in public service and military service, where they contribute as qualified professionals in various sectors. Today, a number of the program’s graduates are successfully employed in different ministries and government institutions of the country, serving as highly skilled specialists.
