Faculty of International Relations

The Faculty of International Relations was established by the decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on March 28, 2024 under No. 173 and began its activities in September 2024. Dr. PhD in International Relations, Associate Professor Kobilov Muhabbatso Zamirovich was appointed as its Dean.

At the Faculty of International Relations, students are enrolled in 4 specialties: language support for intercultural relations (foreign policy), language support for intercultural relations (international tourism), international relations, psychology – in the form of contract and state-funded education at the bachelor’s level.

The faculty structure includes 3 departments:

• International relations and law (covers 4 specialties, 26 academic subjects)
• Philosophy and political science (22 academic subjects)
• Psychology (covers 2 specialties, 9 academic subjects)

Today, 30 teachers and staff work at the Faculty of International Relations of Sotim Ulugzoda Tajikistan University of Foreign Languages, including 3 doctors of sciences, professors, and 8 candidates of sciences, associate professors.

The Faculty of International Relations of Sotim Ulugzoda Tajikistan University of Foreign Languages is one of the main and leading centers of professional higher education in international relations and foreign policy in the Republic of Tajikistan, contributing to the training of highly qualified specialists in the field of international relations, and to the research and study of various aspects of important foreign policy issues. As a structural unit of Sotim Ulugzoda Tajikistan University of Foreign Languages, the Faculty of International Relations implements state policy in personnel training, executes state programs and standards, and ensures stable and quality training of personnel for foreign policy bodies, language support for intercultural relations, foreign policy, and international tourism.
