SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR HELD TO HONOR PUSHKIN AND HIGHLIGHT THE ROLE OF THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

On June 8, the Faculty of Russian Language and Literature hosted a scientific seminar entitled “Pushkin Day and the Russian Language”, organized by the Department of Theory and History of Russian Literature with the participation of faculty members and students.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Russian Language and Literature, Shahlo Hasanzoda, representatives of the Rossotrudnichestvo Center, including R.T. Dudko, as well as the Center’s methodologists.

During the seminar, lecturers and students delivered presentations on Alexander Pushkin’s invaluable contribution to classical Russian literature, the significance of learning the Russian language, and the history and development of the language.

The speakers emphasized that organizing such academic events and seminars creates favorable opportunities for promoting and advancing the study of the Russian language, while also fostering greater appreciation of the rich literary and cultural heritage associated with it.
