Today in Dushanbe, at the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, an award ceremony was held to mark the Day of Tajik Science and the celebration of the 35th anniversary of State Independence. During the event, winners of several national competitions were honored, including “Scientist of the Year,” “Young Researcher and Inventor,” and “Master’s Student of the Year.”
It is worth noting that this year 47 applications were submitted for the “Scientist of the Year” competition, of which 13 candidates were selected as winners.
It is especially gratifying that Dr. Faezjon Tursunov, Doctor of Philological Sciences and Professor of the Department of Comparative Linguistics and Translation Theory, was among the winners. He received the title of “Scientist of the Year” in the field of humanities.
The winners of these competitions were awarded diplomas, trophies, and monetary prizes.
