Tajik International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulugzoda invites you to take part in an international scientific and practical conference on the topic «Journalism and Information Policy in the Face of Global Threats of the Digital Security».

The conference will take place on May 14, 2026 at 14:⁰⁰ in the Academic Council Hall.

Scholars in the fields of philology, journalism, university professors, and researchers interested in studying the conference topics are welcome to participate in the conference.

Conference main directions:

1. Theoretical and methodological questions of a research of digital journalism in the 21st century.

2. Modern approaches to preparation and retraining of journalistic shots for the system of digital education.

3. Role of journalism in protection of information security in the context of globalization.

4. Relevance and possibilities of artificial intelligence in development of the Tajik journalism.

5. Problems and the prospects of development of digital journalism in the system of digital education.

6. Ethics and social responsibility of journalism in the modern world.

7. The future of journalism in coexistence of the person and technologies of artificial intelligence.

8. A role of national media in preservation and advance of cultural and spiritual values.

9. Opportunities and challenges of development and improvement of the Tajik journalism in the digital environment.

10. Problems of information accessibility in the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan.

11. Global threats of digital security and a role of social networks in information war.

In work of conference are allowed both internal and remote participation.

Invitations will be distributed for participants after submission of applications and consideration of theses or the text of article.

Working languages of the conference: Tajik, Russian and English.

Abstracts and articles in electronic form are accepted until May 1, 2026.

It is planned to publish a collection of the conference materials prior to the conference.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DESIGN OF MATERIALS

1. The article or abstract should be sent by email to doro.suhrobi@mail.ru
2. The article/thesis must be accompanied by information about the author indicating his last name, place of work (name of organization), position, academic degree, academic title, telephone number and email address, annotation and keywords in Russian and English.
3. The electronic form of the article must correspond to the MS Word file and size * doc.
4. The length of the article must be no less than 6 and no more than 12 pages.
5. The article must be typed in regular letters, electronically in Times New Roman Tj, Times New Roman fonts, 14, single interval. The distance between paragraphs should be uniform and equal to 1.25 cm.
6. A list of references should be given at the end of the article.
7. It is prohibited to use numbers or automatic marking inside the text.
8. The article must be edited and not contain spelling or stylistic errors.
9. Pages should not be numbered.
10. The authors are responsible for the content of the thesis and article, as well as for the reliability of the information contained in it and plagiarism.
