On May 12, 2026, at the initiative of the Department of Informatics, a roundtable discussion entitled “Enhancing the Level and Quality of Training Specialists in the Humanities under the Conditions of Digital Transformation of Education” was held.
During the meeting, participants discussed issues related to the development of digital technologies, the application of artificial intelligence in the educational process, improving the quality of specialist training, and fostering students’ intellectual skills.
At the opening of the event, the Head of the Department of Informatics, Bakhtovar Shamsov, spoke about the rapid advancement of modern technologies, the importance of their effective implementation within the education system, and the role of digital tools in teaching foreign languages.
Following this, the Head of the Department of Eastern Languages Teaching, Nuriddin Sultonhaydarov, delivered a presentation on the development of modern educational programs, their adaptation to contemporary requirements, and the enhancement of students’ intellectual capacities.
The discussion continued with presentations by faculty members of the Department of Informatics — Abdukarim Qalandarzoda, Abduqahhor Marupov, Dilshod Yahyoev, and Mohina Rahmonova — who addressed ways to improve educational quality, develop students’ digital competencies, and utilize the potential of artificial intelligence in the learning process.
Participants emphasized the importance of organizing such scientific and methodological events for adapting the education system to the demands of a digital society and highly appreciated the outcomes of the roundtable discussion.
