On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Tajikistan International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulughzoda hosted the opening of a cultural and educational center titled “Celebrating Independence: A Treasury of Arts, Education, and National Culture.”
The event was attended by the University’s Rector, Professor Jilo Gulnazarzoda, as well as the Head of the Education and Science Department of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Saydullo Zuvayd Quvvatzoda. The exhibition was organized into three sections.
The first section, called “Dastoro,” showcases the finest examples of traditional handicrafts, including embroidery, gold embroidery, weaving, patchwork quilting, purely national jewelry, as well as outstanding samples of women’s national clothing and traditional caps from three regions of Tajikistan.
The second section, titled “Kitobnamo,” presents the academic achievements of the university’s faculty. It highlights, in particular, translations of notable works by the Founder of Peace and National Unity and Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.
The third section, “Shirinsaro,” features a variety of handmade dishes, quick-prepared foods, beverages, and snacks prepared by students of the University’s Technological Park.
The opening of this exhibition stands as a meaningful contribution to the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
