The Tajik International University of foreign languages named after Sotim Ulugzoda invites you to participate in the international scientific-practical conference on the topic «Actual issues of Oriental philology, linguistic and literary relations in the context of globalization». The conference will be held on Aprel 30, 2026 at 10:00 am in Academic Council Hall of the Tajik International University of foreign languages named after Sotim Ulugzoda.

The conference is open to specialists in linguistics, philology, Oriental studies, and researchers interested in the presented topic.

The main areas of the conference are:

1. The role of the nation’s leader in the study of foreign languages;
2. The importance of studying Oriental languages in the field of translation and teaching.
3. Issues of linguistic and literary research of Oriental languages in the context of globalisation;
4. Research on current issues in Oriental philology;
5. Linguistic and literary interaction of Eastern languages;
6. The role of national scholars in the translation and restoration of the heritage of ancestors;
7. Compilation of translation dictionaries by Tajik scholars;
8. Methods of teaching Eastern languages during the period of independence;
9. The consideration of problems of Oriental philology in contemporary national and foreign literature;
10. Problems of training specialists in the field of translation and future teachers of Oriental languages;
11. The contribution of national Orientalists to the development of Oriental philology;
12. The role and place of Oriental philology in a multicultural environment;
13. Tajikistan’s friendship relations with Eastern countries after independence.

The invitation to participants will be issued after receiving the application and reviewing the abstract (thesis) or article.

All expenses related to participation in the conference shall be borne by the participants.

The working languages of the conference are: Tajiki, Russian and English.

Electronic abstracts and articles will be accepted for participation in the conference until Aprel 1, 2026.

A collection of materials is planned to be published before the conference.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION OF MATERIALS

1. An article or abstracts should be sent to the email address najmiddin83@bk.ru, niyozali75@list.ru

2. Information about the author must be attached to the article / thesis, indicating the name, place of work (organization name), position, academic degree, academic rank, telephone number, e-mail address, annotation and keywords.

3. The electronic form of the article must correspond to the form of an MS Word file of size *.doc.

4. The volume of the article should be at least 5 and no more than 10 pages (for doctors and candidates of science) and no more than 12 pages (for doctoral students, candidates of science).

5. The article should be typed in ordinary letters, in electronic form in Times New Roman with single spacing and size of the capital letter 14. The distance between paragraphs should be uniform and equal to 1.25 cm.

6. The list of used literature should be given at the end of the article.

7. It is forbidden to use numbers or automatic marking within the text.

8. Sheets are not paginated.

9. The authors are responsible for the content of the dissertation and article, as well as for the accuracy of the information contained in it, as well as for plagiarism.

10. If the content and topic of the article do not correspond to the conference proceedings, it will not be included in the collection without the authors’ notification.
