Today, November 14, 2025, a scientific and cultural conference dedicated to President’s Day of the Republic of Tajikistan and the historic session of the 16th Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan was held at the Sotim Ulughzoda Tajik International University of Foreign Languages. Adolat Rakhmonova, a veteran of the 16th Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Abdufattokh Sharifzoda, former press secretary of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, participated in the conference.

During the scientific portion of the conference, University Rector, Professor Jilo Gulnazarzoda, proudly and joyfully welcomed the guests and congratulated all participants on the celebration of this significant day. The head of the institution noted that the worthy and enduring achievements of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the esteemed Emomali Rahmon, are valuable not only to the people of the republic but also to the peoples of the world. The country’s President, as a world-class politician, represented the Tajik people on the global stage and inscribed his name in golden letters in history.

Adolat Rahmonova, a labor veteran and participant in the historic 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, in her speech recalled the difficult, challenging, and dangerous moments the President of the country experienced and cited the initiative, creativity, imaginative approach, and, overall, the impeccable behavior and speech, courage, and zeal of the just Leader of Tajiks as reasons to follow the example of the fortunate youth. During the conversation, Abdufattoh Sharifzoda spoke about the humanity, personality, and truly worthy leadership of the Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and recalled the best and most memorable moments spent with the nation’s beloved President, whom he considered a role model.

University lecturer Marhabo Naimzoda, in turn, spoke about the “Leader of the Nation’s Contribution to Strengthening the Judiciary” and praised the Leader of the Nation’s valuable contribution to the analysis and improvement of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In their speeches, the speakers emphasized that studying the life and exemplary work of the Leader of the Nation, the Honorable Emomali Rahmon, provides a sound foundation for shaping the personality of future leaders.

In the second part of the event, the amateur group “Subhi Jovani Mo” presented a new collection of folk songs and beautiful national dances to the audience.
