In honor of the 31st anniversary of the founding of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan, a scientific and cultural conference entitled “The People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan — a Reflection of the Wise and Human-Centered Policy of the Leader of the Nation” was held at the Tajik International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulugzoda, initiated by the primary party organization “Zabonshinos”.

The event was attended by the Rector of the University, Professor Jilo Gulnazarzoda; Head of the Department of Propaganda and Agitation of the Central Executive Committee of the PDPT, Shirinbekzoda Sadriddin; Chairman of the PDPT Executive Committee of the Sino District of Dushanbe, Habibzoda Zohir Izzat; and party and labor veteran, Professor of the Department of Humanities at the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics, Saifullo Safarov, who delivered insightful presentations.

At the beginning of the conference, the Chairperson of the primary organization “Zabonshinos,” Professor Jilo Gulnazarzoda, congratulated the audience on the 31st anniversary of the PDPT and highlighted the historical role and contribution of this constructive party under the leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon. She emphasized that the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan was established to unite the healthy forces of society, gradually improve the well-being of the people, develop the economy based on diverse forms of ownership, and ensure human rights and freedoms, while continuously striving to implement these goals in practice.

During the conference, Shirinbekzoda Sadriddin, Habibzoda Zohir, and Saifullo Safarov delivered speeches on the aims and principles of the party’s establishment, its achievements, and the initiatives of the esteemed Leader of the PDPT, Emomali Rahmon.

At the conclusion of the first part of the event, letters of appreciation were presented to active party members, and new PDPT members from among the university’s students received their membership cards.

Additionally, the winners of the Republican contest “The Radiance of Wisdom — the Book” — Sayohat Hasanova and Shahzod Kayumov — were awarded diplomas and monetary prizes. It should be noted that third-year student of the Faculty of European Languages, Sayohat Hasanova, won first place in the national stage of the contest in the category “World Literature,” while Shahzod Kayumov, specialist of the university’s analytical-information department, earned second place in the same category among professionals from various fields.

The second part of the event concluded with a cultural program performed by the artistic ensemble “Subhi Javoni,” featuring patriotic songs and national dances.
