On December 4, 2025, the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Sadriddin Ayni hosted the official award ceremony of the Republican Contest “Radiance of the Dawn of Wisdom – Is the Book” for the year 2025.

At the national stage of the contest, students and lecturers of the Tajik International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulugzoda actively participated and won two prize places in the nomination “World Literature.”

Sayohat Hasanova, a third-year student of the Faculty of European Languages, won first place among higher education institutions of the country. The specialist of the University’s Analysis and Information Department, Shahzod Kayumov, received second place among participants representing various professions.

It should be noted that every year students and lecturers of the University actively participate in the republican contests “Radiance of the Dawn of Wisdom – Is the Book”, “Science – the Light of Enlightenment”, and “Tajikistan – My Beloved Homeland”, consistently achieving high and prize-winning results.

To further promote the culture of reading, expand the book-friendly environment, and create favorable conditions for creativity among the younger generation and other segments of society, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, has increased the size of the contest prizes, which significantly enhances participants’ motivation and engagement.
