On December 4, 2025, a ceremonial event was held at the Sadriddin Ayni State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater to announce the results of the Republican Contest “Furūghi Subhi Donoi — Kitob Ast” (“The Dawn of Wisdom is in the Book”) for 2025.

In the republican stage of this prestigious competition, students and faculty members of the Tajik International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulugzoda actively participated and won first and second places in the nomination “World Literature.”

It is especially noteworthy and a source of pride that Sayohat Khasanova, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of European Languages, took first place among students, while Shahzod Qayumov, a specialist from the University’s Analysis and Information Department, took second place among participants from various professions.

It should be noted that every year, the students and faculty of the University actively participate in the republican contests:

• “Furūghi Subhi Donoi — Kitob Ast” (“The Dawn of Wisdom is in the Book”)

• “Ilm — Furūghi Maarifat” (“Science — the Light of Knowledge”)

• “Tojikiston, Vatani Azizi Man” (“Tajikistan, My Beloved Homeland”)

and regularly win top prizes.

To further promote the love of books and reading, as well as to create favorable conditions for creativity among young people and other segments of society, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation  Emomali Rahmon, increased the prize funds, which plays an important role in further motivating the participants.
