In honor of the 31st anniversary of the founding of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan, a scientific and cultural conference was held at the Tajik International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulugzoda on the topic: “The People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan — a Reflection of the Wise and Human-Centered Policy of the Leader of the Nation.”
The conference was attended by and featured speeches from the Rector of the University, Professor Jilo Gulnazarzoda; Head of the Department of Propaganda and Agitation of the Central Executive Committee of the PDP of Tajikistan, Shirinbekzoda Sadriddin; Chairman of the Executive Committee of the PDP in the Sino District of Dushanbe, Habibzoda Zohir Izzat; and party and labor veteran, Professor of the Department of Humanities at the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics, Saifullo Safarov.
At the beginning of the event, Professor Jilo Gulnazarzoda congratulated the attendees on the 31st anniversary of the PDP of Tajikistan and highlighted the significant constructive contribution of the party under the leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon. The Rector emphasized that the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan was established to consolidate the healthy forces of society, gradually improve the welfare of the people, develop the economy based on the advancement of various forms of ownership, ensure human rights and freedoms, and consistently work to implement these goals in practice.
During the course of the conference, Shirinbekzoda Sadriddin, Habibzoda Zohir, and Saifullo Safarov delivered substantive reports on the goals and mission of the party’s creation, its achievements, and the initiatives of H.E. Emomali Rahmon as the leader of the PDP.
At the conclusion of the first part of the event, active party members were presented with letters of appreciation, and new PDP members from among the university students received party membership cards.
Additionally, the laureates of the republican contest “Furūghi subhi donoi — kitob ast” — Sayohat Khasanova and Shahzod Qayumov — were honored with certificates of recognition and valuable gifts.
The second part of the event concluded with a cultural program presented by the University’s artistic group “Subhi Javoni”, featuring patriotic songs and national dances.
