The celebration of State Flag Day was held at the Tajik International University of Foreign Languages ​​named after Sotim Ulugzoda with the presence of Professor, Associate Member of the National Academy of Sciences Karomatullo Olimov and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Women and Family Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdulmainzoda Zarina.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation of the University, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Bakhtiyor Abdurahimzoda, spoke and called the flag a symbol of national statehood, sovereignty, unity and happiness of the nation. It is a matter of happiness that thanks to the humanitarian initiatives and actions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the Tajik nation and state are being presented to the world. Tajik youth draw strength from the work of the youth-loving Leader of the country and raise the flag of Tajikistan at international science Olympiads, sports competitions and cultural events.

Karomatullo Olimov, a professor and a permanent member of the National Institute of Information Technology, in his speech drew the audience to the dark and gloomy past, calling that time a good lesson for life. During the conversation, he called on the youth to receive proper education, use time effectively, for national awakening, political acumen and constant work. Make good use of the growing conditions and concerns of your youth-raising Leader and be worthy of their trust and confidence, added Karomatullo Olimov.

Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Women and Family Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdulmainzoda Zarina, expressed her pleasure during the conversation that Tajik women and girls have achieved their true status and destiny after gaining state independence, especially with the direct support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon. Therefore, they effectively use the created conditions and, along with raising children, contribute to the promotion and presentation of national culture, the revival of national traditions, and the training of talented personnel. Today, there is no area or sphere in society where Tajik women do not play a significant role. In sports competitions, along with young men, they also strive to be the flag bearers of the nation.

At the end of the first part of the conference, the University Board honored the guests with memorable gifts as a sign of respect.

Also, a number of active young people who performed the duties of volunteers and young translators at the international Olympiad “Khimio-2025” were honored with certificates from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan and letters of gratitude from the University.
