Nurturing department

The Department of Education of the Tajik International University of Foreign Languages named after Sotim Ulughzoda conducts its activities based on normative and legal acts on education, youth and women, the National Concept of Education, the Regulations of the Institute, and the Charter of the department.

The aim and duties of the department consists of rising national idividuality, self-knowledge and self-awareness, patriotism and nationalism, tribute to the rich history of the Tajik people, most importantly encouraging the youth to follow the policy pursued by the Government, especially the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

Until 2017, the Department operated as “The Department of Education and Youth Affairs” and after the announcement of 2017 as “The Year of the Youth”, the Department of Education and the Department of Youth Affairs were established separately. The Department performs practical work in the field of work with students studying under the Presidential Quota, work with women, work with youth, work with orphans and semi-orphans, as well as the needy, compliance with the recommended dress code by students, cultural, educational, sports and other events at the Institute and abroad.

There is a club of young translators under the department, which translates small and large works from English into Tajik and vice versa.

Yearly the Department of Education takes effective and timely measures to celebrate important national and state events, historical and political dates and national holidays at a high political and cultural level, and implements them with the involvement of a wide range of faculty, staff and students. The department of Education tries to arrange all the issues related to youth education at a high level as a part of their action plan, and to enrich the student life of young people by holding conferences and round tables, educational and consultative sessions, promotions and competitions.
