DIVISION OF DEVELOPMENT AND REALISATION OF OVERSEAS GRANTS
OBJECTIVES AND MAIN TASKS OF THE DIVISION
The purpose of the organization and activity of the division of development and realization of foreign grants is to help projects related to the field of education that allocated to achieve real results in the directions of the development of the division.
The main tasks of the division of development and work with foreign grants include:
– development of a grant project to obtain additional funds from foreign financial institutions;
– presentation of grant projects to domestic non-state financial companies and organizations;
– cooperation and submission of grant projects to TEMPUS and other financial institutions that provide funds for higher vocational education institutions;
– involvement of the best teachers and students in the development of projects;
– development of grant projects according to the topic and directions of implementation of state programs;
– obtaining additional grant funds for the development of the University;
– expansion of promotion of grant projects among teachers and students;
– involvement of students in the preparation of grants, which the University finances;
– creation of separate groups of drafters from teachers and students;
– organization of courses, trainings for teachers and students who are interested in developing grant projects;
– identification of talented and innovative students from among students and young professionals of the University’s faculties;
– promotion and encouragement of innovative projects of students and specialists at the University and other educational institutions by holding round tables, scientific seminars;
– submission of projects of students and young professionals to national and international competitions in order to occupy a place and find funding.

ERASMUS+
ERASMUS+ (Erasmus Plus) is a European Union program aimed at supporting cooperation in the fields of education, vocational training, youth and sports. The program integrated such previously existing programs as Tempus, Erasmus Mundus and others.
The main goals of the Erasmus+ program are to improve the quality of education, develop mobility and cultural connections of students. Erasmus+ provides a framework for cooperation between universities and guarantees participants that time spent abroad will (subject to the terms of the program) be counted by the university upon returning home. The new program is designed to become an effective tool for promoting the development of human and social capital in Europe and beyond.
Countries participating in the program: all EU countries, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Turkey.
Partner countries: Western Balkans, Eastern Partnership countries, Southern Mediterranean countries, Russian Federation and others, incl. Central Asia, Latin America, Africa and the Caribbean, 13 regions in total.

HORIZON EUROPE
Horizon Europe | European Commission – In 2021, the 8th EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation, Horizon 2020, was replaced by a new one – Horizon Europe. As a reminder, Horizon Europe is the ninth EU research and innovation program. For the duration of the program from 2021 to 2027, a budget of 95.5 billion euros is planned. The program aims to build a knowledge- and innovation-based society in Europe, as well as a competitive economy, while contributing to sustainable development. Horizon Europe will be the largest transnational program supporting research and innovation.

ISTC
The International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) is an intergovernmental organization that brings together scientists with their colleagues and research organizations in other countries. The headquarters of the ISTC is located in Nursultan, Kazakhstan. Current member governments include Armenia, the European Union, Georgia, Japan, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Norway, Tajikistan, and the United States. Scientists from nearly 60 countries took part in ISTC activities.
The ISTC promotes international scientific projects and helps the global scientific and business community identify and attract scientists and institutions that develop or have superior scientific know-how.

DAAD
Every year, DAAD provides, from the funds of the German Foreign Ministry and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Development and Cooperation, a number of scholarships for students, university graduates, young researchers and scientists from Tajikistan.
The German academic exchange service DAAD was founded in 1925 in Heidelberg on the initiative of one student, and now occupies a leading position in the field of international exchanges of students and scientists.
Application deadline: November 30 (annually).
Location: Federal Republic of Germany.
Duration of the program: from 10 to 24 months.
The organization is in form a union of German higher education institutions and student associations. The activities of DAAD go far beyond scholarships: a special emphasis is placed on the internationalization of German universities, strengthening German studies and the status of the German language abroad, supporting developing countries in creating highly effective universities and advising senior staff on issues of educational and international scientific policy, development policy.
Scholarships for the best students
DAAD provides both German and foreign youth with the opportunity to gain study and research experience abroad/in Germany. The majority of scholarships (out of about 100,000 per year worldwide) are awarded to master’s and graduate students. The focus of support is on graduates, as they have already demonstrated their academic abilities and can benefit more from the scholarship than entry-level students.

MEVLANA
The purpose of the Mevlana academic exchange program is the exchange of students and teachers between Turkish universities and higher education institutions in other countries. Students can study abroad from 1 to 2 semesters, teachers can lecture abroad from 1 week to 3 months. The program provides scholarships to selected students and teachers.
